AVOID '90 ABS MODEL
I have owned 3 Cherokees... (2) '90 and (1) '87 model.

300,000 or bust
My family purchased our '90 Jeep Cherokee new and it recently rolled over 205,000 miles. We've done no major repairs and have high hopes of making it to 300,000. It has a few leaks due to old gaskets that have some cracks but that's to be expected....
