I felt obligated to write a review on the Pontiac Sunbird, however mine will be based on the 1988 SE Coupe model.
Why feel obligated? Because my Sunbird, bought on June 15th, 1988, lasted me for over 11 years and 234,000+ miles.

Sturdy & Dependable
I have one word for this car---STURDY!
OK, I have another---DEPENDABLE!
Sturdy as in well-built. It has never needed a MAJOR repair. The same engine (over 150,000 mi.)and transmission still propel it on its merry way every day.

USA Made and still going
Yes, that's right. USA made and still going. I have a 89 Pontiac Sunbird SE and have not had any problems with it at all. It has 198,000 miles on it. Only major work was 3 clutch replacements which is normal. Car still runs great and only leaks a little...
