Built for drivers, needs TLC
The 911 Targa has been a dream car of mine for over 3 decades. After four months of serious looking, I found a 1983 911SC Targa in terrific condition. Bought it on 1/22/00 for $13.5K, which fits into the mid-range of edmunds.com/kelly blue book...

will never sell mine
I have owned my 1980 911 sc since 1992. When I bought it, it came with a weak transmission at 145,000 miles. I didn't mind since it was very quick. Some are quicker than others and this was one of those quicker ones. It wasn't in the best of shape...
